normal temperature for dogs?

My dog has diarrhea In fact, I think it is related to the fact that my dog dog food is different in my mother's house the night before (well vs Innova). In any case. I took her rectal temperature was 100.6. Is this a normal temperature? I have seen several 100.5 numbers from some and some from 101.

In reality it is a bit low, usually a dog is around 101-102, which normally function high

How well branded food I feed both my dogs?

A couple of months ago we changed our dogs (18 pounds boston terrier shepherd mix and 48 pounds) along Wellness Science Diet brand foods. Both seem to like the food but I'm having trouble figuring out how to feed them. As they are eating twice the amount recommended on the bag, divided between two meals, which ends up being about 2 cups to 4 cups boston and the pastor, but still hungry. Not overweight, in fact the pastor is thin, so I'm not worried about the fat, but was not sure if it is normal to have to go that far in the guidelines. Any advice?

The recommended amounts in any bag of dog food are only a general guide. Each dog is unique, however, and some have a faster or slower metabolism and may need more or less food than is recommended. In addition, their dogs food needs vary depending on the amount of activity or exercise they do, how active they are, even if they are indoor dogs or dogs away from home. The best thing to do is control your dogs weight and condition and if they are thin, increase the amount, and if they are starting to become overweight, decrease the amount. It is not uncommon though for an active dog need double what the bag said, and a quiet, it was all the dog house will only need half of what the bag might say. This is what Science Diet says on its website about the quantities of food … It is important to feed your dog the right amount of food at appropriate intervals, but this can be tricky, as feeding requirements vary greatly from dog to dog. Food guides in the food or bag are just a starting point. It is vital to the health of your dog's physical condition is monitored regular food and the amount is adjusted as needed. Ask your veterinarian which of the three feeding methods is best for your dog: Free Choice: Food is available to your dog at all times. Time-Limited Feeding: Food is available to your dog for a limited time. Diet: A measured amount of food that is available for your dog in specific foods each day. To help keep your dog healthy adult, it is recommended to follow the simple steps in this cycle: While your dog. Feed him based on feeding animal health guidelines and recommendations. Assess the physical condition of your dog using our system body condition scoring every two or three weeks during the first six months. Adjust the amount of food accordingly. Repeat. We suggest that you or your veterinarian evaluate the physical condition of your dog every few months. For a dog, your veterinarian may suggest more frequent evaluations.
